• Any documents, photos, or medical information you voluntarily share with us in connection with a potential case

Information collected automatically, such as when you browse our website:

• Pages visited, time on page, referring website, and general location (city/region) derived from IP address
• Information collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide about your potential legal matter.

• Evaluate and respond to your free case review request
• Communicate with you about your potential or existing case, including by phone, email, and text message

We do not use the information you submit to sell products or services unrelated to our legal services, and we do not use your case details for any purpose other than evaluating and, where you engage us, handling your legal matter.

3. Our SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from Champions Firm (for example, by checking a consent box on our website form, verbally authorizing text communication during an intake call, or texting us first), the following applies in addition to the rest of this Policy:

What we text about. We may send text messages related to your free case review, intake and document requests, appointment or call reminders, status updates on an existing matter, and general firm communications. We do not use this program to send unrelated third-party marketing.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on the status of your inquiry or case (for example, more frequent messages during active intake, fewer during periods of inactivity). Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, we will send one final confirmation text and will not send further messages unless you opt in again.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at (888) 883-3061 or intake@championsfirm.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by your wireless carrier or device.

No sharing of SMS opt-in data. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent (i.e., your phone number and your consent to receive texts) will not be shared, sold, licensed, or otherwise disclosed to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This category of information is excluded from all of the sharing described in Section 4 below, without exception.

4. How We Share Information

Other than the SMS opt-in and consent data described in Section 3, we may share information as follows:

• Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as our website host, case management, phone/text messaging platform, and marketing analytics providers, solely to help us operate our practice and communicate with you.
• Co-counsel and referrals. With other attorneys or firms if we refer your matter or associate co-counsel to help handle your case, with your knowledge.
• Legal requirements. When required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or to establish or defend legal claims.
• Protecting rights and safety. To protect the rights, property, or safety of Champions Firm, our clients, or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of firm assets, subject to the confidentiality obligations of the legal profession.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to opt out of certain data sharing. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 13. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Note that certain information may be retained where required by law or our professional obligations, such as records related to an attorney-client relationship.

You may always opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and you may ask to be removed from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our website and text messaging program are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting a form, sending a text message, calling our office, or otherwise contacting Champions Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when both you and Champions Firm sign a written engagement agreement. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information until an attorney-client relationship has been established.
